Below, you can read Hans Følsgaard A/S’ (hereinafter referred to as “H”s) policy for processing the personal data you provide when you visit HF's website and sign up for our news services (electronic mail).

2. Hans Følsgaard’s collection of your personal data
HF's processing of your personal data complies with the current requirements at any time, including the security requirements arising from the personal data protection legislation and the related executive orders. HF regularly reviews the registered personal data and deletes the information that it is no longer relevant to process. The same applies to personal data that a user wishes to be erased and for which HF no longer has any basis for processing. When you use our website or sign up for our news services, this will require you to provide certain personal data. This is necessary in order to be able to use the full functionality of the website in order to send you the relevant newsletters, etc. HF therefore collects and registers the personal data you provide on HF's website in connection with your use of the website and registration for our news services.
3. What information is collected?
When you visit our website, the following information about you is collected:

4 Any user name that you have
The aforementioned information is obtained with the help of cookies and reference is therefore made to the current cookie policy, which gives a more detailed description of the terns for obtaining, storing, disclosure and erasure of the aforementioned data.

In order to target our marketing, HF also collects information about your interests within the following categories, which you may tick off on registering for the news services: automation, cable & cable markup, infrastructure/electrical engineering, power technology, telecom, rail and container.
4. The purpose of collection and the retention period
HF collects your contact details and company/workplace in connection with registration for our news services in order to complete your registration and to deliver relevant newsletters, marketing via electronic mail, cf. Section 2(1), paragraph (15) of the Danish Marketing Act, and e-mails to you. The personal data is processed for the purpose of transmitting electronic mail to you, including newsletters and other relevant marketing related to automation, cable & cable marking, electrical engineering, power technology, telecom, rail and container, and campaigns, press releases, invitations to events/seminars/fairs within your chosen areas of interest, as well as competitions.
Information about your interests is collected in order to send relevant newsletters, etc. to you. The news services are thus selected on the basis of the information you have provided about your interests within the aforementioned categories and are thereby adapted to your situation. HF will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the aforementioned purposes. This means that we will retain the aforementioned personal data for as long as you are still registered for HF’s news services. If you opt out of this service or these services again, HF will erase your personal data within 30 days.
5. Disclosure of your personal data
Other than as described above, your personal data will not be disclosed to third parties except as required in accordance with current legislation, or ruled by a court. Reference is made to the cookie policy concerning the erasure and disclosure of the personal data which you provide in connection with your use of the website.
6. Use of data processors
The aforementioned personal data will be disclosed to the data processors affiliated to HF. The data processors will only process the personal data on the instructions of HF and thus only for the specific purposes stated in this policy. The data processors are also subject to the same obligation to protect the personal data as HF itself.
7. Security concerning your personal data
HF treats all personal data as confidential and we have undertaken a number of technical and organisational security measures to protect personal data from accidental or unlawful destruction, loss or impairment, and from being disclosed to unauthorised persons, misused or otherwise processed in conflict with personal data legislation. Back-up is taken on a daily basis of all of our electronic data and the protection measures we have taken include the installation of e.g. antivirus software and firewalls.
8. Right of access to your personal data, opportunity for erasure and right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to know which personal data HF processes concerning you and the basis for this processing, just as you have the right to receive your personal data on a readable medium. You also have the right to correction of incorrect or misleading personal data that we have registered concerning you. You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data. In addition, you have the opportunity to complain to the Danish Data Protection Authority concerning the processing of your personal data.
With regard to the consent(s) you have granted HF in connection with your registration for the news service, you may always revoke the consent(s) by e-mail or via the unsubscribe link in the newsletters.
