ULTIMA Connect™ has been developed to offer greater flexibility in pit sizes without compromising the strength of the product. ULTIMA Connect™ features a twinwall, sectional design with rings individually built from combining multiple parts. CUBIS manufacture all ULTIMA™ parts in GRP.
Glass Reinforced Polyester Resin (GRP) is an ideal material for access pit products due to its high mechanical and chemical properties, fire retardancy and the fact that it does not suffer from creep. Creep is the tendency of a solid material to permanently deform under continuous or long-term loading or mechanical stresses, such as loading from traffic.
The system comprises of corner pieces (‘hockey sticks’) and sidewall lengths. There are left and right handed corner pieces, which offers the ability to offset joints between sections in order to provide a brickwork effect. The corner pieces are referred to by the internal length on the long side.
These parts are connected using a jointing peg to form a variety of clear opening sizes.
Sidewall lengths can be used with the corner pieces to provide additional cable pit sizes.
Telecommunications: Jointing cable pits
Water: Valve pits, Telemetry pits
STAKKAbox™ Modula is a range of modular and structural preformed access cable pits, suitable for use across across all major industry sectors (in accordance with CUBIS’ installation guidelines). The system provides contractors with a means of constructing access pits quickly and inexpensively, whilst offering improved build quality, reduced defects and enhanced site safety performance. The Modula system is moulded in PP and possesses excellent strength to weight properties. Each section is ribbed internally to improve loading performance. Using the Modula system, complete cable pits can be constructed from excavation to reinstatement in less than one hour.
Application:
Highways: Motorway Communications ('B', 'C' & 'Loop' sizes), Traffic Signalling and Street Lighting
Rail (outside UK): Station Platforms
Telecommunications: Jointing cable pits (Telstra, NBN, local networks)
Water: Valve pits, Telemetry pits
Power: Link cable pits
Low cost chamber
Recommended for use in green and sparsely populated areas.
Rotary molded PE (polyethylene) with PE lid.
The lid can withstand a pressure of a maximum of 1500 kg.
Comes with one or more small chambers where splitting sleeves can be placed without taking up the space for cable winding.
Polyethylene Pullbox MIKRO consists of:
Body
Cover Z600/DN 614-PE with a PE pipe
Rubber Gasket DN 614 (an additional part).
Pullboxes are made of polyethylene and they make an excellent alternative for traditional pullboxes, e.g. concrete ones. The cover can be provided with a lock. Cover Lock: Bottom View and Top View Located in the corners, front flat inlets facilitate insertion of standard pipes dia. 32mm, 40mm and 50mm into the pullboxes. Insertion of pipes can be carried out using: rubber gaskets, welded half-connectors, welded stub pipes or threaded half-connectors with nuts. It is possible to fasten rubber gaskets and threaded half-connectors with nuts directly on a building site. Usage: Installed in underground conduit systems, the pullboxes are designed to protect small cable joint boxes (up to 170 mm in diameter) and spare cable for power engineering, electricity networks, traffic lights, telecommunication ducting, IT networks, control systems, fibre-optical systems and copper cable systems to be laid in conduit systems and microduct systems. The pullboxes enable you to form additional connections and to pull cables. Compared to ZZ-PE-1 Style ZZ-PE 1W, this pullbox is smaller in size and in diameter of the chamber of a joint closure, and in weight.
